Studies drawing and ceramics in Barcelona.1979
Enrolls at the Chelsea School of Art in London, where she will study for three years.
Meets Juan Muñoz, whom she will later marry.

Takes part in La imagen del animal: Arte prehistórico, arte contemporáneo, a group exhibition at the Caja de Ahorros y Monte Piedad, Palacio de las Alhajas in Madrid, which travels the following year to Fundació “la Caixa” in Barcelona.

Holds her first solo exhibition, at Casa de Bocage, Galeria Municipal de Artes Visuais in Setúbal, Portugal. Presents her work at Galería Cómicos in Lisbon.

Iglesias’s first solo exhibition in Spain is held at Galería Juana de Aizpuru in Madrid.

Iglesias’s work is presented in the Spanish Pavilion at the XLII Biennale di Venezia.

The Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York organizes an exhibition of Iglesias’s recent work that later travels to the Renaissance Society at the University of Chicago; Palacio de Velázquez, Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía in Madrid; and Guggenheim Museum Bilbao.
Iglesias’s work is featured in The Guggenheim Museums and the Art of This Century, the inaugural exhibition of the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao.

The Museu de Arte Contemporânea de Serralves in Porto holds a major exhibition of Iglesias’s work that travels the following year to the Whitechapel Art Gallery in London and
Pavilion at the Universal Exposition in Hannover.

Iglesias’s work is featured in La ciudad que nunca existió: Arquitecturas fantásticas en el arte occidental at the Centre de Cultura Contemporània de Barcelona; the exhibition travels to the Museo de Bellas Artes in Bilbao the following year.
Iglesias’s Untitled (Alabaster Room) is included in the exhibition Transparencies at the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao.

Continues to create interventions in public spaces, including one at Forum 2004 at the Centre Convencions Internacional in Barcelona.

Receives the Nivel/Maila prize from the Colegio Oficial de Arquitectos Vasco-Navarro. Exhibits at the Museum Ludwig in Cologne.
Presents the work Deep Fountain (2006) at Leopold De Wael Plaats in Antwerp.
