Inaugural Conversation with Artists

On the occasion of the opening of the exhibition Vito Acconci / Sergio Prego: YOU in gallery 103 of the Museum, Basque artist Sergio Prego will discuss with Manuel Cirauqui, curator of the exhibition and at the Guggenheim Bilbao Museum, about his collaboration and friendship with the historic artist Vito Acconci (New York, 1940–2017) in the final years of the latter’s career, at a decisive moment in Prego’s training as member of the Acconci Studio art and architecture team. The exhibition offers a subjective perspective on Acconci’s career in video and performance and is staged by Prego.
