Film Screenings: Zinebi66

Enjoy films from the 66th Bilbao International Documentary and Short Film Festival–Zinebi, directed by Joseba Lopezortega, organized by the City of Bilbao.

In its 66th edition, ZINEBI will present Oscar winner Laura Poitras, also winner of this year’s Honorary Mikeldi Award, and will screen two of her films. ZINEBI will be also celebrating the 40th anniversary of Imanol Uribe’s film La muerte de Mikel.

• Saturday, November 9, 6:00 pm: Meeting with filmmaker Laura Poitras, winner of the 2024 Honorary Mikeldi Award, and screening of her film All the Beauty and the Bloodshed (2022, 127 min.) Colloquium in English afterwards between Carlos Reviriego and Laura Poitras.
• Wednesday, November 13, 6:00 pm: Screening of Laura Poitras’s film Citizenfour (2014, 113 min.) Colloquium in English afterwards between Michael Premo, Luis Martínez and Laura Poitras.
• Thursday, November 14, 7:00 pm: Screening of Imanol Uribe’s La muerte de Mikel (1984, 89 min.)
