Aimed at the whole family, these classes use art and yoga poses to play, share, and connect.

Art can help us all—kids and adults alike—attain wellbeing, improve our quality of life, and develop our emotional intelligence. Looking at Ellsworth Kelly’s Yellow Curve, we will associate yellowness and curves with light, warmth, the sun, and other things. In Kelly’s painting, the yellow curve is so bright that it bleeds into white, suggesting that autumn and then winter are coming, and nature is getting ready.

This yoga class will help us prepare our bodies and hearts for fall, just like trees, plants, and animals do in the woods. This way, we will be better prepared to welcome the autumnal gifts and warmer to face the cold of winter.

In sum, this activity will give little ones and the grown-ups with them the chance to connect to their creative essence as they explore conscious movement.
