Drawing Movement focuses on exploring the relationship between art and the body. Not only will you draw with your hands; your whole body will participate in the creative act. With activities such as jumping, rolling, laughing, dancing, or moving around, you will experience how your physical actions can influence the lines being drawn and vice versa.

Through a series of free, intuitive exercises, which require hardly any tools, you will make your mark with colorful paints as you move. And best of all, you do not even need to know how to draw or dance: you will make lines, blobs, and scratches with the simplest activities, even just waving your hands in the air.

This is a space to play, experiment, and create, encouraging you to give free rein to your imagination and explore the potential of your body as a tool for art. You can move with your family, with a partner, alone, or even with a complete stranger if you are feeling bold. You will have the chance to discover what certain shapes, colors, and sounds suggest and explore the connections between movement, space, and graphic signs in a deeply immersive experience.

The approach chosen offers both children and adults alike an opportunity to explore the relationship between two languages that are often considered distinct: movement and drawing. It promotes free exploration, the connection between mind and body, and the development of more holistic creativity.

Inspired by the drawing dance project led by Simona Lobefaro and Alessandro Lumare, Segni mossi, the workshop is in line with the need for free expression and the human urge to leave a mark on the world. Come and leave your mark! An exciting and playful experience that will surely make you laugh!
