Tarsila do Amaral
Tarsila do Amaral

The Museum’s Didaktika offers educational spaces and digital contents that complement the exhibitions and offer the public tools and resources to help them appreciate the artworks on display.

This time, the Didaktika devoted to Tarsila do Amaral (b. 1886; d. 1973) presents a brief timeline of her career, along with an audiovisual with interviews of people associated with her, recordings, letters, and photographs from the artist’s archive. This material provides an intimate glimpse into her personal and professional life in the years she lived between her native Brazil and the vibrant Parisian scene at the time. The exhibition catalogue is also available for your perusal.
