Russian pianist Pavel Kolesnikov is coming to Bilbao for the first time, and he will offer an exclusive concert in the context of the exhibition Signs and Objects. Pop Art from the Guggenheim Collection, on level 2 of the Museum.

Kolesnikov (b. 1989) has performed at Zankel Hall (Carnegie Hall) in New York, the Louvre Museum in Paris, and many other top venues, and with such ensembles as the Russian Philharmonic, the London Philharmonic Orchestra, the BBC Philharmonic, the Brazilian Symphony Orchestra, the Toronto Symphony Orchestra, the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra, and the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, among others. The recital at the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao will be preceded by an introduction by the musicologist Patricia Sojo and followed by a conversation between Sojo and the pianist.

This activity is organized with Bilbao House Concerts in the context of the exhibition Signs and Objects. Pop Art from the Guggenheim Collection.
