To mark  the exhibition dedicated to Hilma af Klint, the Museum has organized a panel on female artists in 20th-century Spain. Part of ALMA – Women, Artists, Visionaries in Spain: Spirituality, Feminism, and Utopia, 1900–2000, a research project of the Universities of Barcelona, Girona, and the Basque Country, the panel will focus on the role of female artists in modern and contemporary Spain, and their connections with the Swedish artist and mystic.

Speakers include Maria Lluïsa Faxedas Brujats (University of Girona) and María José González (University of Barcelona), principal investigator, and researcher Garazi Ansa (University of the Basque Country).
