Cecilia Braschi, chief curator and curator of the exhibition in Paris, and Geaninne Gutiérrez-Guimarães, curator at the Guggenheim Museum Bilbao, will talk about the exhibition just before it opens to the public. Come and discover the life and work of Tarsila do Amaral, a key figure of Modernism in Brazil. Her original, suggestive works draw inspiration from indigenous and popular imaginaries, and from the modernizing trends sweeping through Brazil, a country undergoing profound transformations at the time.
