Screening of Tarsilinha!, an animated documentary for children and animated film lovers that pays tribute to artist Tarsila do Amaral. Tarsilinha, an eight-year-old girl, embarks on a fantastic journey celebrating a rich cultural diversity and the magic of characters inspired in Brazilian myths, indigenous traditions, and African and Portuguese elements.
Tarsilinha, winner at the Chilemonos International Animation Festival (Santiago de Chile) and the Academia Brasileira de Cinema e Artes Audiovisuais (Rio de Janeiro), will be premiered in Bilbao on Saturday 19. The event will be attended by one of the film’s directors, Kiko Mistrorigo.
