Inspiring stories are the starting point of this activity in English combining reading, creative play, and art. In October, we will behold the beauty that lies underneath everyday objects, wearing “special glasses” to find the tiniest details in nature – those we tend to overlook when we look in a rush. This way, we will be able to appreciate the treasures hidden in an autumnal landscape.
After visiting the Yoshitomo Nara exhibition – an artist whose paintings are deceptively simple and therefore invite deeper exploration – we will make our own drawings and haikus, trying to recreate the Japanese art of simplicity.
