We will dive into Tarsila do Amaral’s fascinating world of vibrant colors. In some of the artist’s paintings, we sense the presence of something dreamlike, almost surreal. Tarsila was sometimes inspired by her dreams or by the stories she heard as a child. We will take our time to look at her pieces, gazing slowly, inquiring about them, and imagining stories that send us spiraling into dreams. We will look at the colors she used – in her saffron and ochre houses, or the greens of the fields that gleam under her blue sky.
In the workshop, we will experiment with bright colors, discovering how they can spark different sensations and feelings. Come and discover the power of color in a unique and fun way!
